Bike ride presented by SIGLO SIKLISTA: First century ride for 2014

Week after Maarat Race Siglo Siklistas (SS) organized an "Easy Century ride" starting from Quezon City home base to Malipay Paliparan Trails Cavite. Joined them roughly 30 km less on Taguig Heroes Trail where I padyak all the way (PATW) from my home in Manila.

Race Map

One important thing you cannot ignore when participating in Mountain bike races are track reading. As the term states you go to the spot and read the course. Most of the time organizers and track builders have everything in check a couple of weeks from race day.

Lately been spending my Sundays doing laundry or just sleeping all day before family activities but not yesterday. Got invited on a group ride from the boys of “Siglo siklista” at Puray Rodriguez rizal so instead of sleeping till Lunch decided to wake up early and bike till my legs cramped Let’s go!

Wind is just epic today I guess its one of those days when you feel you could push more but the body reacts differently. Plus my fork keeps on making annoying creaking sound when semi-open (lockout) probably needs a service.
Was going to shoot for 40 km but ended up short by 10 km. Just felt tired ...
